On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
Six geese-a-laying.  What to do with all those eggs??

How about a classic egg dish? But with a nutty twist!

I will occasionally eat an omelet for breakfast, primarily when eating out at a restaurant.  But never would I think to add nuts to it.  I was happy to find this recipe on Food Network

This Almond, Cheese and Rosemary Omelet takes a plain omelet to a new level with fresh herbs and nuts.  Toasting the almonds and rosemary first enhances the flavors.  And topping it off with cheese and more almonds, superb! 

I believe these ingredients would work well in a quiche.  Imagine grinding some of the almonds and adding them to the crust.  I’m getting excited just thinking about it.
