I loved this song so much when it came out. Nice beat, great lyrics as well. This song was one of the first singles by the artist, and was a huge hit. I was never really a fan of the artist’s vocal ability, but I loved her songs and skill at dancing.
She found fame from dancing with artists like Janet Jackson, before starting her own music career. She later went on to be a judge on American Idol. Paula Abdul brings us this week’s song, is “Straight Up“.
