General Conference 2015 Singles Events

Starting next week, the Adventist community will be engaged in the General Conference festivities.  General Conference takes place every five years, and brings together Adventists from all across the globe.  They are expecting 40,00-60,000 people to attend.  Adventist pastors, church members, and more!  One may also catch a glimpse of some of the TV personalities from 3ABN, an Adventist television network.  The last session was held in Atlanta, GA.  But this year, the General Conference will be right here in San Antonio!

I’m excited that it will take place in my town.  That provides me with easy access to the events for the session.  I am very involved with the Adventist Singles Ministry.  I’ve shared some details about some of the singles events that I’ve attended in the past in several posts (here, here, here, here, here and here).  And there will be a couple of events just for us single people during the General Conference.  It is going to be exciting to meet other single Adventist from all over the world.

There will be a Meet and Mingle event on July 5th, consisting of different games and activities.  And then on July 11th, there will be another event with an interactive panel discussion.  This event will allow singles to ask questions and discuss topics that are relevant to us.
