I’m Back!!!

It feels like an eternity since I’ve been able to just sit at my computer and write blog post after blog post.  And I miss it!!  I have been very distant from my blog for the past two years.  And I feel like a bad parent that has neglected their child.  I miss writing blog posts and sharing them with others.

When I started my blog, I was self-employed, running my private math tutoring business.  Because I was self-employed, I was able to make my own schedule.  This allowed me to have plenty of time to write blog posts, promote them on social media, and participate in link parties.

I thoroughly enjoyed it!  I was fortunate to meet many nice people in the blogging community, and learn a lot from them at the same time.  There was such an immense feeling of accomplishment and  satisfaction when writing.

I have been teaching full-time for the last two years.  I thought I would give teaching another go around.  The first year was awesome!  I felt like “I can do this again.”  But this past school year was the exact opposite.  New administration led to disgruntled students, parents and low teacher morale (look for future blog posts about my experience).  I decided that I needed to go back to what I enjoyed:  private tutoring.

So because I will be doing private tutoring again, I will have more time to focus on my blog.  I plan to redesign and relaunch it.  I know that this will be a work in progress, and a challenging one at that.  But I can’t wait to start sharing with you all again.
