    Pumpkin Roundup 2018 #1: Drinks

    It is officially fall, which means it is officially pumpkin season.  That’s right, time for pumpkin everything.  Pumpkin coffee, pumpkin cereal, pumpkin sandwiches, pumpkin pajamas.  You name it! It’s been some years since my last pumpkin roundup, so I decided to do another one this year.  In my pumpkin roundup, I feature some very pumpkiny recipes.  I showcase the recipes over a few week, listing them in different categories. The first category is drinks.  Now, I personally, can only consume pumpkin in a quick bread.  No way else.  But I thought that you all would like to explore pumpkin in all its forms, starting with something to quench your thirst.…

    La Croix Coconut Flavored Sparkling Water {Product Review}

    *I was not compensated for this review.  I did not receive any free products.  The opinions expressed are my own. I was in the grocery store when I noticed the display for this product.  I saw the word ‘coconut’ and was immediately interested.  I began to look at the label for the ingredients.  I just knew that a coconut flavored water had to have a sweetener in it.  But, surprisingly, it did not. La Croix Coconut Flavored Sparkling Water is a very natural flavored beverage.  There is no artificial sweetener.  Only natural coconut flavor.  In addition, there is no sodium or calories, and no artificial colors.  The are only two…

    Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, a celebration of an Irish patron saint.  St. Patrick’s Day is full of green, shamrocks, leprechauns and pots of gold.  It is also celebrated with traditional Irish food, and fun activities.  This roundup includes some of those traditional food recipes, and a little something fun for the kids as well. source Shepherd’s Pie is not actually a pie.  It is more of a casserole that combines your meat, vegetables and starch all in one.  The bottom layer is meat, usually lamb or beef, followed by a layer of vegetables.  The top layer is creamy potatoes, nice and golden brown.  This recipe is a quick spin…

I like pumpkin.  I can’t say that I love it.  And I am very picky in how I consume it.   I can only eat it when it is baked into some type of bread, cupcake, etc.  No other way.  But I want to share some pumpkin drink recipes that you may enjoy.   Pumpkin Pie Smoothie  Who doesn’t love a smoothie?  This one is simple to make and quite healthy, too.  The recipe is non-dairy,…
