Remembering the Fallen Soldiers
On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served in our Armed Forces. But for Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who lost their lives fighting for our country. I don’t personally know anyone who has died in battle. But I am thankful to those who gave their lives to protect our country and our freedoms. May they never be forgotten.

Remembering The Heroes
I know several people who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces, both family and friends. Some served a long time, others just a few years. Some have been to war, others have not. But they all made a sacrifice for our country. My older brother served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 23 years. He went away to boot camp the summer after his high school graduation. So we didn’t get to see him much over those years. He participated (I know that word makes it sound so voluntary) in both the Gulf War and the Iraqi War. photo courtesy of ixl.com God blessed him to return…
