    Fruity Summer Drinks

    It’s summertime!  And it’s hot!  What could quench your thirst more than some fruity summer drinks.  I’ve found some recipes that are cool and bursting with fruit flavor. These first two drinks use Sprite (or your favorite lemon lime soda) as an ingredient. Strawberry Mango Cooler This cooler is made with fresh strawberries and mango.  Very fresh and tropical. Blue Raspberry Lemonade Jell-o Slush The Jell-o is gives this slush its bright blue color.  It is frozen and can be topped off with more Sprite and fresh fruit as a garnish.   Take your summer drink to the next level with some ice cream!     Valentine’s Day Pastries

    My favorite bakery, Bakery Lorraine, has done it again!  They have created some beautiful, and tasty, confections for Valentine’s Day.  I just had to share these pastries with you all. I’ve had these moon pies before.  And believe me, you haven’t had a moon pie until you’ve had one of these.  It’s all homemade, unlike the ones we enjoyed as children.  Even the marshmallows are homemade.  For the holiday, they were made in heart shapes.  I ordered some for my valentine and my godson.  Bakery Lorraine is infamous for their French macarons.  I have tried so many flavors that I couldn’t begin to count them.  For Valentine’s, they made tuxedo…

    July 30th was National Cheesecake Day.  Now, that isn’t something that I can personally get excited about because I do not like cheesecake.  I know, that is a shocker for some people.  But I find cheesecake to be too rich for my taste.     Refreshing Summer Drinks

    Well, summer is here!!  And the warmer weather has arrived also.  So everyone is in search of a tasty way to quench their thirst during the summer months.  I have been looking for some new and refreshing summer drinks to try.  I may have found what I’m looking for on Food Network.     As soon as Christmas was over, the retail and grocery stores began to inundate the masses with Valentine’s merchandise.  Cards, stuffed animals, candy and more. Valentine’s Day will arrive in a few weeks, and many people are gearing up to celebrate with their loved ones.  Some will eat out at a fancy restaurant, while others will prepare a restaurant quality meal at home.
